This program served fintech companies, aiming to promote the industrialization of fintech innovations in the climate sector. The program provided services including technology optimization, industry connections, and market expansion.
Between 2022-24 the accelerator recruited 28 companies and supported 42 entrepreneurs. NEX China, in collaboration with the Yangtze River Delta Hi-Tech Park, also hosted the 2024 NEX Climate Fintech Innovation Day, which was an integral part of Shanghai Climate Week.
Initiated by LG Energy Solution in collaboration with NEX, the project aimed to accelerate the adoption of new battery technologies and business models globally. NEX recruited over 140 innovative companies worldwide to participate.
19 companies advanced to the interview stage, showcasing their innovative technologies for potential for collaboration with LGES. Two companies, Iontra from the United States and Evyon from Norway each won a US$3oK prize, working with LG Energy Solution to bring their innovative projects to life.
